RUBY STARDUST

I have created an ongoing series of surreal fine art Polaroids, inspired by my deep obsession with vintage sci-fi and fantasy.

Each image is meticulously crafted using miniature sets, flowers and vibrant colourful lighting. All captured in-camera, Making each finished polaroid a unique object and beautiful piece of artwork.

Unlike other projects I have worked on there is no post-production, no Photoshop and no AI involved.

In a time when AI “photography” makes everyone question what’s real and what’s not, I wanted to flip that notion on its head. so I have been physically creating this imagined world using real objects.

There is something about it that harks back to a time of true hands on craftsmanship, originality and joy.

Making them serves pure escapism from the increasingly ominous reality we live in. RUBY STARDUST is a world that could never really exist, breaking the laws of our universe offering endless possibilities and hope.
